Camera Picker would not be an option in Android 11
Android 11 would make it mandatory for apps to use the phone’s default built-in camera software and will eliminate the camera picker option. According to AndroidPolice, any app running on this OS would not get a camera picker prompt. This would affect the camera picker or the selector option only. Users would still be able to use camera apps by launching it directly. Apparently, these changes are done in a bid to prevent apps from collecting user’s location data. Apps tend to embed location data with the images files and this restriction can be useful in curbing this practice.
